Police seek Queens, Brooklyn bank robber

Police are looking for a suspect wanted for an attempted bank robbery in Ridgewood yesterday and a Brooklyn bank robbery in March.

In both incidents, the suspect passes a note and demands money.

The Brooklyn robbery occurred on March 22 at 2:25 p.m. inside of a Popular Community Bank at 2095 Ralph Avenue.

Monday’s attempted robbery took place at a bank located at 59-01 Myrtle Avenue around 10:50 a.m.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers website or can text their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
