Authorities are looking for a man wanted in two recent St. Albans robberies.
In both incidents, the suspect hit a store employee in the head with a gun, demanded money, then fled with the cash.
According to police, he first struck a bodega located at 114-01 Colfax Street, around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday March 9.
A couple days later, on March a 11, he robbed a deli at 205-19 Hollis Avenue at about 7:45 p.m.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s and 5’8” tall.
Anyone with information in regards to either of the robberies is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
