Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home Serving the community for four generations

Losing a loved one is never easy, but the Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home will be there for your family every step of the way.
The first Kearns Funeral Home opened in 1900 in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn and since then, they’ve been providing some of the best funeral services in the tri-state area.
The Kearns family has been serving the community for four generations. With sympathy and compassion, they help to make a very difficult time a little easier.
“We can help people in just about every kind of situation,” said Thomas Kearns, funeral director and owner. “We’re family operated and have something special to offer the community. We’ve been around a long time.”
Kearns Funeral Homes is a member of Selected Independent Funeral Homes, an international organization comprised of independent, privately-owned funeral homes throughout the United States and in 30 countries around the world.
Funeral homes in this organization can work together across national and international boundaries to meet their customers’ needs if a loved one passes away in a country other than the one in which they lived.
Kearns said a major facet of his business is the fact that they provide funeral services tailored to different cultures, faiths and backgrounds. With three locations in a community as diverse as Queens, they find themselves serving many nationalities and religions.
“People look at us as a firm that’s accustomed to handling different kinds of funerals,” he said. “We have a lot of experience with it.”
Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home is located at 103-33 Lefferts Boulevard in Richmond Hill. They also have venues in North Richmond Hill, Rego Park and East Meadow, Long Island. For more information on their services, call 718-441-3300 or log onto their website at www.kearnsfamily.com.
