UPDATED: A 23-year-old man shot on an Astoria street has died

A 23-year-old man has succumbed to his injuries after he was shot in Astoria on July 17.

Police said the victim was shot at 4:11 a.m. in front of 28-03 Steinway St. Two suspects got into a verbal dispute with the 23-year-old male victim. The first suspect gave the second suspect a firearm and he shot several rounds at the victim, who was shot once in the neck.

The suspects then fled in a black sedan, police said.

The victim, identified as Qsaun Brown of Brooklyn, died from his injuries on July 19.

Both suspects are described as black males, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 5 feet, 10 inches and 200 to 220 pounds.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and red shorts.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a light-colored baseball cap, black T-shirt and dark-colored pants.
