They did it! After a season marred by injuries, Flushing’s own New York Mets have found their way into the playoffs, clinching a wild card spot. This Wednesday night, Oct. 5, Met fans from across the area will be flocking to Citi Field to see the Mets battle the San Francisco Giants in the do-or-die Wild Card Game.

Noah Syndergaard, the Mets’ fireball-throwing ace, will be battling the Giants’ number one pitcher, Madison Bumgarner, in Wednesday’s showdown. The winner moves on to face the Chicago Cubs, who had the most wins of any MLB team this year, in the Division Series; the loser goes home for the offseason.

If you want to watch this important game with your fellow Mets fans without paying hundreds of dollars for a ticket, we have five great places where you can see all the action.
