A 38-year-old man was arrested on February 23 for allegedly shooting his girlfriend in the head.
According to police, the alleged suspect, Rodney Greene, shot the 24-year-old victim, Vu-Ewa Prentice, twice in the head and blamed her injuries on a drive-by incident.
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.
Greene has been charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
