Patrick Ryan, 41, allegedly died after being arrested by police on April 26.
According to cops, they responded to a call from Ryan’s girlfriend that he was acting strangely in their 204th Street apartment. After allegedly attacking officers with a broom, he was subdued. He then collapsed and was later pronounced dead at Mary Immaculate Hospital.
Ryan has a previous arrest record. Officers who searched the home found 35 rounds of ammunition, 62 grams of white powder, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $4,300 in cash.
