Seniors at the Kew Gardens Community Center – a program of the Queens Community House – took a page from the downtown art scene with a mixed media show of their own.

Painting instructor AJ Castenada of Jamaica curated the show of more than 80 oils, drawings and water colors by artists from around the borough. Center director Bari Goldzman managed the one-day show, which drew almost 100 visitors to the Center at 80-02 Kew Gardens Road.
