How refreshing to read “Class of 1,147 police officers graduate” (Police Beat by Steve Mosco – December 30). Many television and radio station news programs along with other daily newspapers spent so much time covering the recent snow storm and aftermath – that many missed this very significant new story.
They all have far greater budgets and larger numbers of staff than you do. Yet, with limited resources – The Queens Courier managed to cover this major event. Thanks for reporting this story and assisting in acknowledging the next generation of New York’s Finest.
