Courier ‘Power Breakfast’ with Raymond Kelly

Networking by business and community leaders is a valuable asset to the growth of their businesses and professional relationships alike.

The Queens Courier will be presenting the next star networking event, featuring a question and answer session with guest NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly.

The star networking power breakfast group event will be held at the Martin Luther High School on Thursday, March 10.

The event will feature Kelly as keynote speaker, who will be discussing various important issues affecting the community.

“Martin Luther School is excited about the opportunity The Courier has given us by allowing us to host this event,” said head of Martin Luther High School Randal Gast. “The fact that Commissioner Kelly will give the key note address speaks to the importance of this event in keeping an open line of communication with the community and local businesses.”

Neighboring community and business leaders are planned to attend.

Kelly has spent 31 years in the New York City Police Department and was appointed Police Commissioner of the City of New York by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and held the post for a second, separate tenure. He served as Commissioner of the U.S. Customs Service, managed 20,000 employees and was awarded the Alexander Hamilton medal for exceptional service. Acting under Secretary for Enforcement at the U.S. Treasury Department, Kelly supervised the department’s enforcement bureaus.

For his role in ending human rights abuse and establishing an interim police force, Kelly was awarded the exceptional Meritorious Service Commendation by the President of the United States and the Commander’s Medal for Public Service. He has served in 25 different commands and Police Commissioner from 1992 until 1994 and 2002 until present.
