Glen Oaks Village remembered the 10th anniversary of September 11 with the dedication of Tribute Triangle Park on Sunday.
A plaque set in a rock was also dedicated honoring all the men and women who have served the country. The rain that threatened the ceremony held off for the over 150 members of the community attended to honor the men and women lost on 9/11.
Bob Friedrich, president of the Glen Oaks Village Co-op, led the memorial that featured religious leaders from the community, veterans, firefighters and active members of the military. — Billy Rennison
