Al Davis will be missed

The world of sports has lost a dynamic and committed individual who truly loved the game of football – Al Davis. He served as personal assistant, scout, assistant coach, head coach, general manager, commissioner and team owner, and was finally inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Davis had also gotten his Oakland Raiders to three Super Bowl titles. He was a true maverick and pioneer of the game. He was, in my opinion, a living legend who helped shape the modern game of football. He was committed to excellence and that showed with his catch phrase, “Just win, baby.” Davis had a true love of the game of football and it showed. For that, he will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Al Davis.
