The police are seeking the public’s help identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an Ozone Park robbery.

On Wednesday, October 16 at approximately 1:20 p.m. a 21-year-old female was walking near 87th Street in Ozone Park when the suspect approached her brandishing a gun and demanded her property, according to police.

The suspect made off with cash, jewelry, her cell phone and iPod.  He is described as a black male between 22-28 years of age, 5-foot-6-inches to 5-foot-8-inches tall weighing between 130 and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
