‘Picture’ perfect arrest for Queens groper caught by cell phone

A Queens groper has had his future fondling plans foiled by a cell phone.

Froylan Andrade, a 39-year-old Hispanic male from East Elmhurst, has been arrested and charged with sexual abuse for groping a 19-year-old woman while she waited for the 6 train at the Union Square station on the morning of October 23.

According to police, Andrade approached his victim from behind at approximately 9:55 a.m., grabbed her shoulder, lifted her dress and grabbed her private areas.

Andrade then entered the same train car as his victim, who cleverly used her cell phone to photograph the alleged pervert.

Police were able to utilize the “mug shot” in apprehending him in East Harlem on November 6.

Andrade was arraigned on November 8, and his bail was set at $2,500 cash, with a bond of $5,000. According to a law enforcement source, his next court appearance will be on November 10, at which time the prosecution will notify the court if a grand jury has opted to indict.
