A deadly fire broke out late Wednesday night leaving one dead in Jamaica.

The blaze at a residence on 120th Avenue left a 69-year-old woman dead. The woman was found after fire fighters responding to the fire extinguished the flames. EMS pronounced the woman dead on the scene.

The investigation of the fire’s cause is ongoing.
