Three men were shot down within 12 hours of each other this weekend in Queens during separate incidents, according to police.

The violence started Saturday evening when police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a male shot in East Elmhurst.  George Portillo, 31, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach where he was pronounced dead.

The second incident occurred early Sunday morning in Jamaica.  Police responded to 123rd Road at approximately 1:15 a.m. to find Cody Kahn, 20, with a gunshot wound to the chest.  EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

The third deadly assault occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. in Queens Village.  Police found two men shot at the corner of 209th Place and 111th Road — a 28-year-old behind the wheel of a car and a 31-year-old slumped on the sidewalk.  Both had gunshot wounds to the chest and were taken to Jamaica Hospital.  The 28-year-old was pronounced dead, while the other victim is in stable condition, according to police.

No arrests have been made in the cases and the investigations are ongoing.
