Police are on the lookout for two suspects they say posed as officers in Elmhurst.
The alleged police impersonation occurred on Tuesday, January 10 when two white men walked into an apartment building on Elmhurst Avenue, police said. The suspects identified themselves as NYPD detectives, but left the location when one of the victims asked for identification.
Police described the suspects as between 30-35 years old.
