Triboro Pharmacy

By Triboro Pharmacy

The Astoria community is proud to welcome a new independent pharmacy, Triboro Pharmacy. The store has been open for approximately four months. The owner is John Athanasatos, PharmD a local resident who has been working as a pharmacist for about 10 years in both independent and chain pharmacies. The store offers a variety of services including: free delivery to all residents, 10 percent discount for seniors, veterans, military personnel, NYPD, FDNY and first responders and free flavoring for kids medicines that include a free oral syringe and a special container.

“The flavoring and calibrated oral syringe ensures proper drug delivery with pediatric medicines and better compliance,” says Athanasatos.

The pharmacy also offers multilingual services, with over 100 languages translated verbally and 15 languages in written form.

Athanasatos notes, “With Astoria being populated with many ethnicities the ability to communicate with residents in their native language is invaluable. It is vital to make people feel comfortable and to be able to counsel them, ensuring proper drug use.”

Other services offered are:  fax/copy and notary public. MetroCards are also available.  Furthermore, they carry a wide diversity of products, including those of the Dead Sea, Burt’s Bees and other organic products. The store additionally stocks a variety of surgical products.

Also, Triboro Pharmacy offers prescription compounding, free blood pressure and glucose monitoring and a free demonstration of the electronic cigarette-a smoking cessation device.

This fall we are all set to administer the flu and pneumococcal vaccinations for our patients!

Great customer service with a friendly, helpful and professional staff!

The store is open 7 days a week, M-F 9:30-9PM, Sat 10-8PM and Sun 10-6PM. Contact Phone Number: 718-777-7033, Fax: 718-777-7038 and email:
