An off-duty police officer was stabbed Wednesday afternoon inside a Queens residence in the 103rd Precint and taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition, said the NYPD.

Police could not confirm who stabbed the officer or if it was inside his own home. But NY1 is reporting that the incident, which occurred around 1 p.m.,  may have involved a home invasion, and that the victim was stabbed in the side and struck in the head.
