This man is wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting an 11-year-old in Elmhurst.

Police are looking for a bicyclist who sexually assaulted a child in Queens earlier this month.

On Monday, October 1, around 6:30 p.m. the suspect approached the 11-year-old victim at Whitney Avenue and Broadway in Elmhurst while she was on her bike, and asked her to help him fix the mountain bike that he was riding. He then sexually assaulted the girl and fled on his bicycle.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 45 years old, about 6’2″,  and was riding a black mountain bike with a black seat with red stripes.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
