Bicycling suspect sexually assaults 11-year-old in Elmhurst

Police are looking for a bicyclist who sexually assaulted a child in Queens earlier this month.

On Monday, October 1, around 6:30 p.m. the suspect approached the 11-year-old victim at Whitney Avenue and Broadway in Elmhurst while she was on her bike, and asked her to help him fix the mountain bike that he was riding. He then sexually assaulted the girl and fled on his bicycle.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 45 years old, about 6’2″,  and was riding a black mountain bike with a black seat with red stripes.
