Cops are looking for two suspects in connection with a Friday, October 19 grand larceny on Northern Boulevard near 86th Street. The two men, described as Hispanic in their early- to mid-20s, approached a 74-year-old woman from behind, police said, and removed her purse from her shoulder.

The two then fled, police said, and the victim was not injured. The first suspect is described as dark-skinned, of heavy build, neatly groomed and last seen wearing blue jeans, a checkered pattern jacket and a blue “Yankee” baseball hat. The second suspect is described as light skinned, of thin build and last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue or gray hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
