All furs and leathers should be stored in a climate- and humidity-controlled environment. Cold storage is needed to avoid the excessive damaging effects of moths and for the hide of the pelt, which can deteriorate if not stored properly.

They also accept wool, cloth, cashmere, etc. in the vault for additional protection from insect damage. Yannis Furs only requires a two-day notice for retrieval, but always try to accommodate a shorter notice if possible.

They specialize as a full-service furrier for all repairs, remodels, cleaning and glazing and accept trade-ins. They also service leathers, shearlings and outerwear. Most work is done on the premises, with very few exceptions.
