Arrest in deadly Elmhurst stabbing

The boyfriend of a woman found stabbed to death in Queens Sunday has been arrested for her murder, according to police and media reports.

Around 8:20 a.m. on December 9, authorities responded to a call of a foul odor at 90-34  54th Avenue, where they discovered 62-year-old Lorraine Cetrone with a stab wounds to her back and a 63-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center in stable condition.

On Monday, Robert Wall, 63, was arrested and charged with Cetrone’s murder as well as criminal possession of a weapon.

According to the New York Daily News, Wall is Cetrone’s boyfriend and was the injured man in the incident. Those wounds were reportedly self-inflicted.

Wall and Cetrone both live at the Elmhurst address where the victim was found, said police.
