An accident Monday night involving a fire truck and another vehicle sent six firefighters and one civilian to the hospital, said the FDNY.

According to Firehouse.com, around 9:45 p.m., at Northern Boulevard and 150th Street, a fire truck from Ladder 129 collided with a garbage truck. It wasn’t clear whether the FDNY vehicle was responding to call at the time of the accident.

Four of the individuals involved in the accident received serious injuries and three major injuries, said the FDNY, but could not specify if the civilian was among those in more serious condition.
