R&B singer Trey Songz arrested for assaulting woman at Queens strip club

R&B singer Trey Songz was arrested for throwing a wad of bills at a woman in a Woodside strip club this summer, according to the Daily News.

At the time of the August 22 incident, the 28-year-old was having an album release party at Club Perfection on 30th Avenue.

Donna McIntosh-Inoe, a 36-year-old Staten Island woman who paid $700 to sit with Songz, told the Daily News that during the party she took a cell phone picture of the musician, upsetting him.

When Songz couldn’t delete the photo, he allegedly threw a ball of money at McIntosh-Inoe’s face, giving her a black eye.

McIntosh-Inoe immediately reported the assault at a nearby police station.

According to court record, Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, was arrested on September 20 and charged with misdemeanor assault. He is scheduled to appear in court again on February 11.
