This suspect is wanted for stealing a woman's handbag at the 169th Street F line subway station.

Police are looking for a suspect wanted for robbing a woman at a Queens subway station.

According to the NYPD, as the 27-year-old victim descended the stairs of the station, the suspect approached her, threw her to the ground, then fled on foot with her handbag.

The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Friday, March 8 at the 169th Street F line stop, located at at Homelawn Street and Hillside Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, 5’7″ tall, 165 pounds and was wearing all black.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers website  or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
