This suspect is wanted for raping a woman in a Queens cemetery on Monday, April 1.

Police are looking for a man who raped a 41-year-old woman in a Queens cemetery Monday morning.

According to the NYPD, around 4:45 a.m.,the suspect approached the victim in the vicinity of Corona Avenue, displayed a knife and threatened to stab her. The suspect then forced the victim to a nearby cemetery and raped her.

The victim was taken to an area hospital where she was treated and released.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man, 25 to 30 years old, 150 to 175 pounds, with black spiked hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
