A 12-year-old girl is in serious condition after falling out of the fourth-floor window of a Jackson Heights apartment building Wednesday.

The child fell out of the window at the building located at 35-55 73rd Street at around 4 p.m., according to the FDNY.

She was immediately taken to Elmhurst hospital where she remains in serious yet stable condition.

According to the FDNY, the fall seems accidental, but the investigation is still ongoing.
