Cop are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual act in South Ozone Park

Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a criminal sex act in South Ozone Park.

The suspect came up to a seven-year-old girl before 6 p.m. yesterday outside of a driveway, police said. He performend a criminal sex act on the girl and then fled on foot.

He’s described as a man in his 20’s, of dark complexion, 6’ tall, 160 pounds with black hair. Police say he was last seen in a blue hooded-sweatshirt with unknown white writing on the front, dark jeans and carrying a purple backpack.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
