A man has been arrested for fatally stabbing a 19-year-old in South Ozone Park last week.

Wilson Rivera, 19, of South Ozone Park, has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

He is accused of stabbing Danthony McDonald around 9 p.m. Friday on Linden Boulevard.

McDonald, who lived nearby, was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to published reports, McDonald was killed just one day before his 20th birthday and had planned on joining the Marines.
