Police have arrested a man and charged him with rape after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl inside an elevator in South Jamaica on Sunday, August 18.

Police have arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl inside an elevator in South Jamaica.

Jemmal Bryan, 29, of Springfield Gardens, has been charged with second-degree rape, said cops.

Bryan allegedly followed the teen into an elevator at the South Jamaica Housing Development around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 18, according to police. Once inside, he sexually assaulted her. When they reached the victim’s floor, she screamed and the man fled in an unknown direction.
