The two New Yorkers who rushed to the aid of a British tourist who was struck and severely injured by an out-of-control taxi in Manhattan again exemplify that there are people in this city who care enough to want to get involved and help.

Both of these guys did what they thought was right, and it certainly was. They deserve recognition from all New Yorkers for their acts of caring, and we sincerely hope that the young lady who they helped will make a full recovery from her severe injuries. Kudos to those two men for their fast actions, which probably did save this woman’s life.
