Cops are trying to find a suspect who robbed a Jackson Heights jewelry store at gunpoint on October 31 while wearing a Halloween mask as well as three other men who helped him commit the theft.

Around 6:30 p.m., the suspects entered Virani Jewelers, on 37th Avenue near 75th Street, and announced a robbery, said police. The suspect who was wearing the mask then forced an employee at gunpoint into the back office and had her open the safe while two of the other suspects removed jewelry from the display case and the fourth suspect watched the front door. Cops said the suspects then fled the store with the jewelry, which included necklaces, rings and rope chains.

The suspects are described as male Hispanics, one of them dark skinned, said police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or can text their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
