A man allegedly stabbed his wife after the two got into a Thanksgiving Day dispute at their South Richmond Hill home, according to police and published reports.

The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the couple’s Lefferts Boulevard residence, cops said.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to Jamaica Hospital with multiple stab wounds, where she is listed in stable condition, according to police.

Xavier Cabarcas, 31, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.

According to the New York Post, Cabarcas and the victim are married with three children, but their kids did not witness the stabbing.
