The body of a woman was found washed up on the Astoria shoreline Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.

The unidentified woman was found unresponsive about 11 a.m. near Astoria Park South and Shore Boulevard, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was badly decomposed.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing, cops said.
