The U10 Royals after taking first place in their tournament.

Blau Weiss Gottschee (BWG) teams competed in several Memorial Day tournaments over the holiday weekend with great success.

U8 Blue played some great soccer in Commack. They were able to compete against older players and finished second place. U8 Blue won games against Boca Soccer and Dutch Soccer, tied New York Stars and lost to Long Island United.

The U10 Royals went undefeated in Massapequa and won first place in that tournament. They played some very close games but were able to win each one of them. On their way to first place, they defeated Massapequa, Port Washington, Garden City and Port Soccer.

The U10 Girls finished in second place in Massapequa with a record of three wins and one loss.

The 2002 Blue team played in the U13 top division tournament. They were victorious against Eastern FC, Long Island United and Massapequa. However, the kids lost 1-0 against West Islip, to take home second place honors.

On the academy side, it was a great weekend for BWG. All three teams shut out Seacoast United from New Hampshire. U14 won 3-0; U16 won 4-0; and U18 won 5-0. U16 is at the top of their division, while U18 moved closer to a playoff spot with the big win.
