A pair of wannabe burglars, who broke into a Bayside home last week, got away without the goods but not before one of them was caught on camera, according to police.

The break-in occurred on June 11 at about 5:30 p.m. in a residence near 23rd Avenue and 206th Street, authorities said.

A female suspect working with a male suspect forcibly entered the home, but fled before taking any property, according to police. They both escaped in a late model Nissan Versa with out-of-state license plates.

Authorities did not have a description of the male suspect, but said the female perp is white or Hispanic, in her 50s, with long black hair, and was last seen wearing a white top, black jeans and black sandals.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or can text their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
