Man shot to death at St. Albans intersection

Detectives are looking for the gunman who shot a Cambria Heights resident at a St. Albans street corner early Sunday morning.

Russell McKee, 30, was shot multiple times while standing at Camden and Liberty avenues about 4:53 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.

Officers from the 103rd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics brought McKee to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to the New York Post, the unidentified gunman got out of a car, approached McKee and fired numerous shots at him, striking the victim in the arm, leg, abdomen and back. Reportedly, the shooter then returned to the vehicle and drove away.

The investigation is ongoing.
