A 19-year-old South Ozone Park man was arrested and charged as the second suspect involved in the murder of 70-year-old Leta Webb earlier this year, according to police.

Sahel Green was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon on Thursday in connection to Webb’s death.

On March 31 at 1:30 a.m. police responded to a 911 call of a woman shot inside of 152-22 119th Ave. in Jamaica. Upon arriving, officers found Webb with a gunshot wound to the head and to the left arm.

Emergency personnel transported Webb to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

It was later revealed that Webb was shot after answering a knock at her door. She reportedly was not the intended target of the shooting.

After a reward of $2,000 was offered for any information leading to the arrest of Webb’s killer, in April police arrested and charged Julian Douglas, 22, of Richmond Hill with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
