Put on your costumes and get ready to celebrate Halloween and do more at these events around Queens.

Saturday, Oct. 31

Celebrate Halloween at Flushing Town Hall. Join in mask-making, pumpkin piñata, ghost stories, and other family-friendly fun! Free. 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing. 4 to 7 p.m. Visit flushingtownhall.org for more information.

The Bayside Village BID has organized a full day of events to celebrate Halloween. Participate in costume contests, a selfie scavenger hunt and trick-or-treating. Free. All day. Adults, children and pets welcome. Bell Boulevard, Bayside. Visit baysidevillagebid.com for more information.

Stop by the “Costumed for a Cure” event at your local Ridgewood Savings Bank. Enjoy the Halloween festivities and make a donation to the employee whose costume you like best. All funds raised will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All Ridgewood branches.

Celebrate the Day of the Dead at “Oye Corona!” at Corona Plaza. Immerse yourself in Mexican culture and enjoy food, dancing, singing and art by Shellyne Rodriguez. Free. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.103 Street and Roosevelt Avenue, Corona. For more information visit queensmuseum.org.

Join the 207th Street Block Association of Bayside for its 36th Halloween Fest-On-Mall hosted by Betty the witch. Snack on treats, listen to spooky tales and make paper arts and crafts while enjoying the autumn harvest. The event is free open to all children and adults. 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the grass mall at 208th Street and 42nd Avenue.

Sunday, Nov. 1

Visit the Flushing Library to experience “Zarzuela!” Hear the Allegro Singers perform classical arias and duets, popular songs and famous zarzuelas. Free. 3 to 4 p.m. 41-17 Main St., Flushing.

Monday, Nov. 2

Get energized at a Zumba-Latin Dance Fitness Class at Lefferts Queens Library. Instructor Meiling Schumm creates a Latin-inspired dance workout, which helps burn fat and build muscle. Dress accordingly. Pre-registration is required. Free. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. 103-34 Lefferts Blvd., Jamaica.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

Visit the “Leading the Way: Six Outstanding Women of Queens” exhibit on display by the Queens Historical Society. The exhibit features a diverse group of women who all share roots in Queens and made an impact. $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. On display Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays until May 2016. 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. 143-35 37th Ave., Flushing.

Elementary school teachers and home-school parents are welcomed to the Alley Pond Environmental Center to learn how wildlife prepares for inclement weather. Participants will learn about behavioral adaptations including migration and hibernation. Start the day with breakfast then enjoy live animal demonstrations and a nature walk to the local pond and forest to gain firsthand discovery of the living world. $30 per person. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 228-06 Northern Blvd., Douglaston. Wednesday, Nov. 4

The Museum of the Moving Image will feature a preview screening of “The Peanuts Movie.” Watch as the Peanuts gang makes their big screen debut in 3-D and get behind-the-scenes details from two animators who will be in attendance. $12 for adults, $9 for senior/students, $6 children 3 to 12. 7 p.m. 36-01 35 Ave., Astoria. Flushing Town Hall will feature its Monthly Jazz Jam from 7 to 10 p.m. The Queens Jam OverGround welcomes music students, teachers and musicians to play and non-players to come and listen. Event held on the first Wednesday of every month. $10 admission. 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing.
