Join the 207th Street Block Association of Bayside for its 36th Halloween Fest-On-Mall hosted by Betty the witch. Snack on treats, listen to spooky tales and make paper arts and crafts while enjoying the autumn harvest. Visit the “Leading the Way: Six Outstanding Women of Queens” exhibit on display by the Queens Historical Society. The exhibit features a diverse group of women who all share roots in Queens and made an impact. $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. Elementary school teachers and home-school parents are welcomed to the Alley Pond Environmental Center to learn how wildlife prepares for inclement weather. Participants will learn about behavioral adaptations including migration and hibernation.
