A police car stationed on Myrtle Avenue in Forest Park Saturday afternoon after a body was found in the park earlier that morning.

Police found a deceased man inside Forest Park in Kew Gardens on Friday, according to the NYPD.

Officers in the 102nd Precinct were notified of the unconscious and unresponsive man at approximately 10 p.m. EMS responding to the scene pronounced the victim dead; his body was transported to the medical examiner’s office to determine the identity and cause of death.

The man has not yet been identified by authorities, and police would not disclose where in the park he was found.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
