Watch actors of all ages take the stage, get a start on your Christmas shopping, enjoy some Sunday bluegrass and do more at these events around Queens.

Saturday, Nov. 21

Students at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center will put on a play entitled “What Are You Afraid Of?” The play will examine the subject of fear in the students’ own stories and words and is directed by Garrett Neergaard. 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21. Listen to actress and singer-songwriter Lauren Elder perform at Jamaica Library. Blending folk, jazz and pop, she creates an original sound and gives regular musical performances at venues across NYC. Bring the family to an interactive, full-staged production of “Hansel and Gretel” at Moak Yang Presbyterian Church.
