Two vacant warehouses in Ridgewood will soon become the site of a five-story residential development, it was reported.

According to The Real Deal, The Loketch Group — a Coney Island-based development firm — purchased the warehouses located at 801 and 819 Wyckoff Ave. for $11.3 million on Nov. 17, which was one of the largest deals for a development site in Ridgewood.

The site is approximately 43,000 square feet and offers about 200 feet of frontage along Wyckoff Avenue. The proposed five-story building will have 54 rental units, averaging 795 square feet, with 29 of the units to be duplexes.

The building’s amenities will include a 1,000-square-foot recreational space on the top floor and a 420-square-foot roof deck, according to NYIMBY. The building is being designed by J. Frankl Associates.
