The incident took place on Wednesday at 2:20 a.m. in a home at Union Street and 33rd Avenue.

The suspect can be seen on surveillance video tiptoeing through the living room area before crawling into a bedroom to snatch a Samsung S6 cellphone from a bedroom dresser. He reportedly fled on foot when the victim —a 42-year-old male — awakened.

Cops said the victim was not injured, and the suspect was last seen going westbound on 33rd Avenue.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police described the suspect as a man standing 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighting about 200 pounds and last observed wearing all black clothing and a black snow cap with the word “diamond” in red and white lettering on it.
