This robber didn’t handle his victim with care.

A gunman who pistolwhipped a worker at a Jamaica moving and storage facility during an armed robbery earlier this week remains on the loose, police said.

According to authorities, the heist occurred at 2:29 p.m. on Nov. 29, when the perpetrator walked into the Ace Moving and Storage building located at 148-02 95th Ave.

Once inside, police said, the perpetrator displayed a black firearm and demanded cash from a 46-year-old male employee. When the man told the robber he had no cash on hand, the perpetrator whacked him in the back of the head with the gun, then pushed the worker to the ground and exited the location.

The bandit was last seen leaving the scene in a beige Ford Windstar minivan traveling southbound on 148th Street and driven by an unidentified accomplice, who is wanted for questioning.

Officers from the 103rd Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics took the wounded worker to Jamaica Hospital for treatment of minor injuries including a head laceration.

Police released on Thursday images of the suspect, who is described as a black man last observed wearing a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap, eyeglasses, a black jacket over a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS, visit their website or send a text message to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter TIP577. All calls and messages are kept confidential.
