“Tiles” for “Tots”

Queens’ Tiles Unlimited joins “Toys for Tots” to help spread holiday joy this season

After its 2-time participation on the popular NBC television series, “George to the Rescue,” with a third just announced, Tiles Unlimited continues its commitment to “Making a difference one square foot at a time,” by serving as a drop-off location this holiday season for Toys for Tots, the venerable nation-wide charity that provides toys each year to less fortunate children.

Since the non-profit’s founding in 1947 by USMC Major Bill Hendricks, Toys for Tots has distributed nearly half a million toys to more than 230 million kids. Anyone interested in donating a new, unwrapped toy this season should visit Tiles Unlimited at 72-12 88th St, Glendale, NY 11385.

Toys for Tots donations must be dropped off no later than December 7

Tiles Unlimited is the source for premium tile products, offering the largest selection of ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass and metal tiles in Queens. The Tiles Unlimited state-of-the-art showroom is complete with architectural workstations and video screens that showcase completed tile designs.

Since its founding in 2004, Tiles Unlimited has supported communities throughout the Tri-State area. It is the cornerstone of the business and it is what guides many of its decisions. One need look no further than Tiles Unlimited’s response in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, when the company donated more 30,000 square feet of their best-selling porcelain tile to more than 200 homeowners affected by the storm.
