Man wanted for questioning in connection to Jackson Heights hit-and-run

The  NYPD is searching for a suspect wanted for questioning in the hit-and-run incident that killed 17-year-old Jaremello Ovidio on Dec. 8.

Police released on Saturday the image of an individual wanted for questioning in connection with a deadly hit-and-run on a Jackson Heights street last week.

Subsequent to a video canvass of the area, the NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad Detectives retrieved photos of a man who exited from the passenger side of the black Toyota Camry that struck and killed 17-year-old Jaremello Ovidio shortly after the incident on Dec. 8.

Ovidio was crossing the street at the intersection of Junction Boulevard and Northern Boulevard, from the southeast corner to the northeast corner, when the vehicle struck him and took off.

Detectives would like to interview the man in regards the collision.
