Meet Santa, design your own snow globe, enjoy a few laughs and do more at these events around Queens.

Saturday, Dec. 19

Meet Santa and his elves at Food Bazaar Supermarket. Drop off any non-perishable food items and have a free photo taken. Food Bazaar LIC will match all donations collected and send off the proceeds to City Harvest. Noon to 5 p.m. 42-02 Northern Blvd., LIC.

Help bring peace and justice to the galaxy by making your own lightsaber at the New York Hall of Science. Learn how to tape cast and create simple circuits while forging your Jedi weapon. Ever wonder why squirrels act so “nutty” in the fall? Bring your child to Alley Pond Environmental Center to learn how squirrels prepare for the winter. Play games, interact with live animals, make a craft and have a snack. Ages 4 to 6. Attend the Holiday Spectacular at Al Oerter Recreation Center in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Design a snow globe with your child at the New York Hall of Science and learn about snowflakes and what makes them unique. Recommended for children ages 18 months and older. Get into the holiday spirit with The Queens Symphony Orchestra. The intimate group will play traditional holiday favorites that will put you in a jolly state of mind. Suggested donation is $5. 3 p.m. 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing.

Fan of Alfred Hitchcock? The Museum of the Moving Image will screen “Psycho,” starring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh and Vera Miles. $12 admission, $9 for students and senior citizens. Tuesday, Dec. 22

Go to the Rego Park Jewish Center for a night of bingo and fun. Play special games of Jackpot, Early Bird, Diamond and Tri-Color. All paper games. Everyone over 18 is welcome. $4 admission.
