Police are looking for a man who unsuccessfully attempted to steal an entire ATM from a Laurelton business.

Police are looking for a man wanted for the attempted theft of an entire ATM machine in a Laurelton meat market.

The unidentified man entered Merrick Meat Farms at 234-21 Merrick Boulevard through a back door at 1:40 a.m. on Dec. 18, according to authoritites.

After unsuccessfully attempting to remove an ATM from the location, he fled the store without gaining any proceeds from the incident.

The individual is described as a Black male wearing a gray sweat shirt and white sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.

All calls and and messages are kept confidential.
