Police are searching for a burglar who took valuables from a first-floor apartment in Rego Park on Sunday.

According to cops, the suspect — described as a 45-year-old black man standing 6 feet tall and weighing 170 pounds — entered the building through a rear window of the residence in the vicinity of 63rd Drive and Fitchett Street at 7 p.m. on Dec. 20

Once inside, police said, he removed various electronics, jewelry and $60 cash. He then fled the scene through a front door and was last observed wearing a black hat, a gray coat and tan pants.

The incident was reported to the 112th Precinct.
